Oh well, it my birthday today. Hip! Hip!! Hip!!!(Can i get a Hurray?) The past year has been very wonderful and eventful as well. I've seen the egyptian revolution, bared hearing the very many remixes of oleku and black and yellow, seen twitter pose a threat to facebook and watched Lady gaga dress "PROTEIN-ously" in red meat and egg.

More importantly, my love for rap music was fueled by total passion and commitment and hence ignited into what i'd call multiple recording sessions.

In all, i thank God, for without him i am nothing. i thank my family, friends, readers, fans and bit bender entertainment.

Take that bold step

Its been what? 8months since my last post. wow! i'm really sorry for that long hiatus but i had to do some soul searching, path treading etc and i would say it hasn't been easy. My musical career started during this recess and my passion was further fueled by words from the man in the picture above, Terrence j - a co-host on MTV's 106&park. here's what he had to say:

If you want to run a label, quit your job at the bank & intern at a label. If you want to be a doctor, apply to school today, etc. I wanted to act, so every week I go 2 acting school for 14 hours, study film & actors, read about projects, etc. Once I took steps, roles came.

A girl replied, how can I pay my bills if I quit my job 2 follow my dreams? - when following your dreams you will be temporarily inconvenienced. Tyler Perry was HOMELESS years before becoming a MILLIONAIRE. Only you can determine the amount of sacrifice your dreams are worth.

Before 106 I had a job making 30k but I wasn't happy. I quit. Moved to NY, worked small jobs to get by, & lived on fredwhit FLOOR FOR 8 MONTHS!

I just meet so many people that want to reach their goals & then complain when it sounds hard! Go watch Pursuit of Happiness

Everybody has a different story. U may have kids, mortgage, bills, etc. But God is powerful. There is always a way to follow your dreams.


I sincerely hope we'll look inwards to find that thing we'll probably regret not doing and just DO IT. Let us take that bold step and not just talk the talk. Oh and about my music career, I'll post an update on that very soon. Love you all and wishing you a happy month.
